Hello, I am
I'm a computational biophysicist with experience in risk management within the financial industry. My work focuses on complex modeling, ranging from drug design using molecular dynamics to portfolio optimization via Monte Carlo simulations. Having lived abroad and worked in international environments, I bring a highly adaptable, global perspective to problem-solving.
Developed molecular dynamics simulations to evaluate SARS-CoV-2 inhibitors for antiviral drug design.
Read PaperDynamic simulation trajectories of Amyloid Beta inhibition processes.
Developed a tool for testing portfolios based on different financial products such as ETFs and stocks.
Try it outDeveloped and tested Credit Portfolio View, the enterprise-level credit risk management software for the Sparkassen Finance Group. Estimated credit risks utilizing Monte Carlo simulations and supported partner banks in portfolio analysis (SQL, VBA, C#).
Worked as a Student Representative at Studierendenwerk Berlin for an international student dormitory. Managed the dorm's bar and fostered community by organizing events such as group trips, parties, karaoke nights, and board game nights.
During high school, I successfully organized fundraising efforts in Germany to support a school in Peru, where I subsequently volunteered. This project centered around educational support, community building, and cross-cultural exchange.
Developed neural network models to extract dynamic path trajectories from simulation datasets.
Estimation of credit risks with Monte Carlo simulations. Development and testing of credit risk software.
Courses in Machine Learning & Financial Mathematics. Thesis: Extracting reaction paths from simulations (Grade 1.0).
Focus on Economics and Computational Physics. Thesis: Statistical models for polymer adsorption using simulations (Grade 1.0).
Award for best student in chemistry (awarded by German Chemical Society).
For me, international exposure goes far beyond a casual hobby. While I deeply enjoy exploring new cultures and traveling the world, it's my immersive professional and academic experiences abroad that have truly shaped my globally-minded attitude. Whether I'm studying at the University of Sydney, presenting research at UBC Vancouver, or volunteering in Peru, these experiences have shaped a highly adaptable and multicultural approach to my work.
As a natural extension of my background in quantitative finance and risk management, I have a deep passion for investing. I apply statistical models and data analysis to construct well-balanced ETF portfolios, with a particular interest in evaluating growth opportunities within the Asian market and tracking the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence.
